When we refer to “GlobalVision,” “we,” or “us” in this policy, we mean GlobalVision., which controls the information collected when using GlobalVision’s products and services, including our website.
What information does GlobalVision collect?

GlobalVision collects information that you voluntarily provide to us through responses to surveys, registration, and chat (in-product and website). The type of information that is collected can include your name, phone number, business mailing address, email, and any internet protocol (IP) address information.
This information is generally collected when one registers for an online demonstration of our products or downloads a piece of content.
Account Information: Contact information is collected upon purchase of GlobalVision products. This includes the contact information of the users of the products, which is provided to us by the purchasing company. That type of information that is collected can include, your name, phone number, business mailing/shipping address, email, etc.
The information you provide through our support channels: GlobalVision services also includes Customer Support, where you may choose to submit a support ticket or chat with a Support Technician via our online or in-product chat. Whether you open a support ticket, chat with a Support Technician, or engage in any other way with our Customer Support team, you will be asked to provide a summary of the problems you are experiencing and any information that would be helpful in resolving the issue.
Payment Information: We collect certain payment and billing information when you purchase GlobalVision products. We ask you to designate a billing contact, including name and contact information upon purchase. You might also provide payment details which we collect via a secure payment processing service.
E-mail and other communications: We may contact you, by email to discuss your use of our website and products. If you don’t want to receive such communications from us, please let us know by contacting us at the mentioned below. If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter, we will request your name and email address. You always have the choice to opt-out of receiving the newsletter or other marketing communications by following the unsubscribe instructions included in the emails.
How we collect your information
We collect information about you when you are using our products either on the web or desktop. This information includes browsing our websites, usage in the products and taking certain actions within the products.
Your use of the products: We keep track of certain information about you when you interact with our products. This includes the features included in the products; your email, name, location, social media information, when you first signed-up, last time you used the products, number of sessions, number of reports run, account expiry, if you are currently on a trial, first website visit, browser and version, browser language, operating system.
How we use the information we collect
To market and promote with our products: We may use your contact information and information pertaining to the products you are using to send promotional and products information. This can be communicated via emails, our website, ads, and social media platforms. These communications are sent out to help drive engagement and provide useful tips regarding our products, including products offerings, new products releases, survey requests, newsletters and events. You have the ability to control what types of communications you would like to receiver under “Unsubscribe.”
To communicate with you about the products you are using: We may use your contact information to send your transactional communications via email or within the products itself, including license key information, trial or subscription expirations, responding to your chats, questions and support requests, providing Customer Support and send you product information and updates. We may also send you notifications via email or through the products chat based on your activity in the software. For example, a certain action taken in the software may prompt an email to go out suggesting a feature suggestion. Upon your first login, we send out an email and in-product chat to help onboard you and help you perform your first inspection. You have the ability to opt-out of the email communications, that option is found at the bottom of the email.
Customer Support: We may use your information to resolve any technical issues, to respond to your submitted support tickets. We also use your information to send Training Certificates once you have been trained on your GlobalVision system.
Chat: We may use the information provided to us through our website chat or in-product chat to respond submitted questions or support inquiries.
Customer Testimonials: We may use your information to publish testimonials or featured customer stories to promote our product, with your consent.
How is the information stored?

You have choices available to you when it comes to your information. Below is a summary of those choices, how to exercise them.
Your choices: You have the right to request a copy of your information, to refuse the use of your information (including for marketing purposes), to request the modification or deletion of your information. Below we describe the tools and processes for making these requests.

When you make your request to withdraw your content, we may need to process your request. You can request that your information is completely deleted from our database. All requests will be addressed within 30 days of being made.

You can tailor your email preferences or opt-out of all communications. When opting out of communications, you may also request that all your information be deleted from our database. All requests will be addressed within 30 days of being made.

GlobalVision will not share, sell or rent any of your personal information for promotional purposes. GlobalVision partners or authorized resellers may have access to your personal information but will only use your information in conjunction with your relationship with GlobalVision and our products.
Protection of children online
GlobalVision considers the protection of children’s privacy, especially online, to be of utmost importance. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13, nor do we allow them to request information.
Managing your Information
Information correction and updating
GlobalVision allows users to change or modify any information gathered during registration. The information can be changed at any time by returning to our website or emailing email@example.com. You may also unsubscribe to any of our newsletter or online communications by changing your subscription preferences available in any of our outgoing communications.
